PLA National President, Bruce Fordham, has sent a letter to the Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, and the leader of opposition, Tony Abbott, identifying advocacy directions sought by our National Board.

Parks and Leisure Australia is pleased to release its “Strategic Framework for Action 2010 – 2015”. This framework has been developed to position and focus PLA to meet the existing and emerging challenges confronting the parks and leisure industry. PLA’s focus continues to be across community sport and recreation, and the natural and built environments at the local community level. Our objective is to ensure quality planning, management and provision of public opportunities through parks and leisure experiences.
